Ben is a Principal and Co-Founder of Wellington Development Partners with primary responsibility for asset and land acquisition, financing, and development.
Throughout his 20+ year career, Ben has been involved in the financing, acquisition, development, rehabilitation, management, and disposition of approximately $2B in commercial real estate assets nationwide. Ben was previously a Senior Vice-President at CWCapital where he directed the operation, rehabilitation and repositioning of a $1.1B real estate portfolio, including 136 multifamily properties (17,800 units), and 2,200,000 SF of commercial and retail space across the United States. His financing experience also includes the use of conventional debt and equity, NMTC, LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds and Historic Tax Credits.
Ben is currently Vice-Chairman of Loudoun County’s Affordable Dwelling Unit Advisory Board (ADUAB). He holds a B.A. in History from Denison University and an M.B.A from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration. Ben lives in Loudoun County with his wife, Alissa, and three children.
