Co-founder, Partner
Jim is a Partner and Co-Founder of Wellington Development, an affordable housing development company. Jim has 40 years of experience in real estate development and finance, primarily related to affordable housing.
Prior to launching Wellington Development, Jim served as a founding Principal of E&G Group, a premier Washington DC-based developer and manager of affordable housing properties totaling over 3,000 units.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Jim has held a number of distinguished posts within the community including the formation of an affordable housing advocacy group in Northern Virginia and serving as an appointed representative to the Virginia Board of Health by the Governor.
Jim earned his degree in economics from Princeton and an M.B.A from University of Virginia’s Darden School.
